This is one of our unique candles where the inspiration came from my favorite morning hot beverage, a dirty spiced chai tea. This is a complex candle using a layering technique that allows for 2 distinct aromas to eventually melt together creating an entirely new fragrance. The “whipped cream” top portion of the candle has notes of vanilla bean, buttercream, and cake are rounded out by a hint of bourbon with a splash of cinnamon chai. The base of this candle or the “dirty spiced chai” contains top notes of cinnamon, cardamom, and orange peel awaken the heart of rich cream and spicy peppercorn, while notes of rejuvenating black tea and sweet vanilla round out the base, and then an added shot of espresso to complete the sensory experience. The “whipped cream” portion will slowly burn and melt over the base and it first blend with it, offering a vanilla, cinnamon chai experience. The further the candle burns the more “dirty + spicy” it gets when the cinnamon and espresso start to fill the air.
We chose a ceramic vessel and a glass vessel for this candle because of its reusable capabilities. Once your candle is finished you can place it in the freezer to remove the wax easily, of use hot water to remove the remaining wax. Picture an adorable little succulent finding a new home in either of these beautiful vessels.

Burn Time: Ensure to trim wick to 1/4" before burning and it is recommended to burn for 2-4 hours for maximum burn time. It is not recommended to burn longer than 4 hours at a time. We only use US grown, all natural soy wax. Our candles are all clean fragrances, meaning free from carcinogens, reproductive toxins, and other potentially hazardous chemicals often found in fragrance. Place on a heat resistant surface.
*These are all handmade, the actual volume of wax may very from candle to candle. White Ceramic Vessel candle is between 10 ounces and up to 12 ounces with an approximate burn time of 50-60 hours, and the Cream Glass Vessel is between 12 ounces and up to 13.5 ounces with an approximate burn time 60-70 hours. The style of this candle does cause a delay in the release of the smell. Once the “whipped cream” starts to melt the wick is then able to release the fragrance into the air. When testing it took about 1 hour for the wax to melt enough to release the fragrance, then after that hour the candle went through the transitions of aroma that is described above and created a wonderful aroma of my favorite hot drink a dirty spiced chai.
